 "As we began working with Margaret and Ruth we quickly realized they were of an entirely new caliber compared to any of the rescuers and trainers we had previously dealt with.  We were immediately impressed with their organizational skills, professionalism, and their empathetic no nonsense approach to animal rescue.  As we spent more time with them in group training classes and private sessions to work on specific behaviors we were consistently amazed by their ability to shape behavior through a calm, assertive, positive approach to troubled dogs.  

I’ve heard it said before that dogs as a species have a special, perhaps unique ability to forgive, to forget, to overcome, to connect us to nature, and to love without condition; all with an aptitude that many humans would struggle to match.  They live utterly in the moment and encourage us to do the same.  Perhaps not surprisingly, Margaret and Ruth have incorporated these same values in their approach to animal rescue."

 " ARC is an incredible resource that supports both you as the human and your dog! No matter the state your dog is in, they are able to give concrete and honest suggestions to ensure positive and successful training. While I recognize that my knowledge of training is quite low (ok, non-existent), there was never a time that they made me feel inadequate. They meet your dog where they are at (for mine, quite low and anxious) and show such love and compassion. I was recommended to ARC from someone else with the feedback of "they won't sugar coat it like some other trainers", which proved to be accurate" and so appreciated.
